Heritage Museum Reception

On Friday, July 10, alumni, parents, and friends of The Hill gathered at The Heritage Museum to view The Wyeths:  America Reflected.

Consisting of works by Andrew Wyeth, his father N.C., and son Jamie, the exhibition The Wyeths: America Reflected elucidated such quintessentially American themes as: patriotism and the meaning of America; family; the significance of place; and the role of storytelling.

The exhibition included forty-five paintings and works of art on paper from private and museum collections including Betsy Wyeth/the Wyeth Collection, Jamie Wyeth, Victoria Wyeth, the Brandywine River Museum, the Greenville County Museum of Art, Lyman Allyn Art Museum, Portland Museum of Art, Delaware Art Museum, Hood Museum of Art, Margaret Lilly, and the Hill School for the Poems of American Patriotism paintings.
